How to Organize Cords in Your Home

With all of the gadgets and devices out there, I know keeping cords organized has become a challenge for many of us. They’re always missing, and when you do find them, they’re usually in a tangled mess. Ever since we moved into our new house, it has become my mission to find an organizational solution for everything. I think my current method of organizing cords is a major win and I’m excited to share it with all of you. Keep reading to find out how to organize cords in your home.

My biggest organization tip has always been to make sure every single thing in your home has a place. When all of the items in your home have a spot, it’s much easier to find them. And put them away. I found this box on Amazon and knew it would be perfect. It’s designed to be used for beauty products, but I think the compartments make it work for wires, cords and chargers. Instead of just shoving the wires in the compartments, I found these little cable zip ties to keep each wire secure and separate, preventing tangles and headaches. I love how the box is clear, which makes it super easy to see exactly what’s inside.

I’d love to find a way to label the wires in the future, but for now this has been working perfectly for us. We’re no longer tearing the house apart every time we need a particular cable or cord. You can shop the organizer box and the cable ties on Amazon.
