Everything You Need to Prep for Spring Cleaning

Spring is almost here and you know what that means… It’s time for spring cleaning! Every year around this time I try and give the spaces in my home a little refresh, whether that’s a deep clean, getting rid of clutter, organization, or all of the above! While deep cleans and major organization can feel a little daunting, something that has drastically helped me tackle it all is by having the right cleaning and organizational products to work with. Before the spring cleaning season officially arrives, I put together everything you need to prepare for spring cleaning so when it does roll around, you’re ready to go.

Steam Cleaner

Mopping the floors always felt like a major chore, and was something I dreaded. One day, I decided to try out this steam cleaner, and I was shocked at how well it worked and how much easier it was to properly clean the floors! Now I can’t live without it. If you’re dealing with tile and dirt that tends to get stuck in grout, this will be your new best friend.

Good Multi-Surface Cleaner

Multi-surface cleaner is an absolute must when it comes to cleaning everything, as it works on almost every surface. I like to invest in a high-quality multi-surface cleaner that works great and also smells amazing. There are so many options out there, so find your favorite before your deep clean rolls around!

Microfiber Cloths

I love cleaning with microfiber cloths – they truly can do it all! Typically, I keep one for dusting and one that is damp which I use with multi-surface cleaner. It makes cleaning all of the surfaces in my home so easy, and the best part is you can wash and reuse them when you’re done. Say goodbye to using up a whole roll of paper towels on cleaning day!

Multi-Use Brushes

Let’s be honest, we don’t want to store a million different cleaning brushes. That’s why my go-to is multi-use brushes. These brushes are great for getting into the cracks, crevices, and smaller spaces, where a brush like this is so helpful when it comes to cleaning the shower and the bathroom. I have a few different multi-use brushes that work for my entire house!

If you’ve seen any of my past content, you know I love anything and everything Scrub Daddy. Label Maker

This isn’t necessarily a cleaning product, but something I think should definitely be in your spring cleaning arsenal. Before any deep cleaning begins, decluttering is a must! I like using organization bins to help with my clutter and to keep everything organized, I use a label maker. They are so easy to use and make organizing drawers, closets, and more so seamless. Once you start labeling things, you’ll never go back!
