After eight months of waiting, my vanity finally arrived and it is even more beautiful than I expected. Initially I wasn’t planning on having a vanity in our bedroom, but after years of having one in our apartment, our new bedroom felt empty without it.

After spotting this vanity on Anthropologie, I knew it was the one. It was definitely a splurge but now that it’s here, I can honestly say it’s a very special piece. I love that it has a built-in mirror, a large compartment for all of my make-up products, and drawers that swing open on the side. It even has a built-in power strip so you can plug your hot tools into it while you’re getting ready.

To organize the main compartment, I opted for these organizers from The Home Edit collection at Walmart. I will say, of all the clear organizers I’ve tried and tested, the Home Edit wins every single time. The quality is much better and they feel far more durable. I’m really happy that they created a more affordable line at Walmart!

I kept the styling of the vanity pretty simple since most of the time the center compartment will be open. I added the mirror from my old vanity, a smaller mirror (it’s sold out but here’s a similar one), my favorite perfume for easy access and decor, and my makeup brushes. The canister that my makeup brushes are in is actually a toothbrush holder! Shh, don’t tell anyone.

I’m really happy with the way this little space turned out and with every project our house is starting to feel more like our home!
