Bathroom Cabinet Organization

Our bathroom cabinet is a project I couldn't quite perfect, but I think I *finally* have it just the way I want it. I always love to revisit spaces I already organized because I feel like you learn a lot about your needs once you've spent time actually utilizing the space.

The vanity for my bedroom is scheduled for delivery tomorrow, so I decided to refresh our bathroom cabinet since I’ll be transferring a handful of products out of the cabinet and into the vanity. Our bathroom cabinet is a project I couldn’t quite perfect, but I think I *finally* have it just the way I want it. I always love to revisit spaces I already organized because I feel like you learn a lot about your needs once you’ve spent time actually utilizing the space.

The cabinet itself is built between our double sinks in our bathroom. I think it’s meant for linens, but I essentially use it as an oversized medicine cabinet. To organize the first two shelves, I used these bins from The Container Store. They’re currently only available for pick-up at your local store, so if you’re looking to recreate this project, I recommend grabbing these bins from Amazon instead. They’re larger but the style is quite similar. To label the white bins, I used these labels from Etsy. You can customize them to say whatever you want. I chose font #1 and the color tan glossy. They’re really easy to apply and waterproof which is perfect for the bathroom.

In our previous set-up, I used the white bins on every single shelf but I found that they were half empty most of the time or too small to fit larger quantities of items. To replace them, I opted for these storage bins. What’s really cool about these bins is although they look like they would be soft to the touch, they’re actually made of recycled plastic and really quite sturdy. I used them on the top shelves to store my extra contacts, backstock of the products we use most often, all of my travel-sized toiletries and the washcloths I like to use for my face. To label each bin, I opted for these bin clips. I can’t even begin to tell you how happy it made me to find bin clips in this color. I mean, could they be anymore me?! The great thing about these bin clips is you can write directly on them with a chalk marker. If you ever need to change the label all you have to do is wipe it off.

I truly love the way it turned out. It always makes me happy when I can find a way to organize in a way that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
