I don’t know about you, but I have definitely been through my fair share of small apartments! Living in New York I definitely had to find ways to make the most out of the small space I had. Now I have such a strong love for organizing and finding things to help me keep my stuff clean, pretty, and functional without taking up too much space. This is especially true for the bathroom. I know we all have so many different products we use whether that be skincare, haircare, makeup, body care, etc., and with a small bathroom… it can be hard to find ways to store it all without everything looking like a hot mess.

I have so many different organization tips on the blog, but I thought it would be fun to do a post all about utilizing a small bathroom. Read on for my top tips and get ready for your bathroom to go through a major makeover! #1: Use Storage Carts and Organizers

When I don’t have a ton of space, carts and organizers are my go-to. Typically, they’re stackable or have multiple tiers which allow you to store a TON of products in a small amount of space. I love a rolling cart like this one that I can easily move wherever I need it to be. The different levels allow me to store a ton of items, I like to keep things organized depending on the level. For example, hair care on one level, body care on another, etc. However, storage carts and organizers don’t just come as caddies you stick by your toilet! Another one of my all-time favorites is a stackable corner organizer you set on your bathroom counter like this one. This product has saved me in terms of keeping things neat and organized on my counter!

#2: Find Decor that is Cute Yet Functional

It’s always fun planning decor for any space, including the bathroom! Of course, anyone would want their decor to be cute, but why not add in a few pieces that are also functional? I love finding a piece that is super useful but also matches my bathroom aesthetic and adds a little style. One of my favorite finds is this toilet paper holder with a shelf. It holds my TP but also allows me to store feminine products, wipes, or anything else I want to keep near, all hidden in a pretty gold case.

#3: Add Storage in Your Shower

If you’re anything like me, you might have a few extra shower products lying around! I love trying out new shampoos, soaps, and more, which means I keep a lot of items in my shower. You might already have a ledge in your shower to put products on, but sometimes that isn’t enough space. Or you might have a shower with zero ledges or storage, so you’ve resulted to putting your items on the floor. I feel you on this, but my shower got a major update when I added some storage to my shower! No, I didn’t put my bathroom through a renovation, I just added a shower caddy like this one. This specific caddy goes in the corner and suctions to the wall to act as a little shelf. There are other caddies that are free-standing which also might work depending on how much space you have in your shower. Check them out on my Amazon Storefront!

Overall, finding ways to utilize space based on your bathroom and adding products to help you maximize space is the way to go! You’ll be surprised how much these small adjustments update your bathroom.
