I’ve talked about this a million times but since I work from home, my workspace is super important to me. Most people see working from home as a luxury (and in many ways, it definitely is) but it does come with its fair share of challenges. You have to have the ability to focus on your work, no matter how many distractions come your way (and trust me, there will be a lot). I’ve learned over the years that in order to stay as focused and productive as possible, I need to work in a space that I truly love being in, which is why you’ll see me switch things up pretty often. As many of you know, early next month I will be designing a second office space for my design shop over at my parent’s house. Since I won’t be operating both of my businesses out of my home office anymore, I no longer needed a massive desk with a ton of storage space (like I previously had). I was able to downsize to a simpler desk and set-up.
