Valentine’s Day is around the corner, and whether you’re spending it with your significant other or your besties, I always think it’s so fun to put together a little gift! For me, V-Day gifting is less of a large, expensive gift moment but is something filled with little, fun items that are festive and enjoyable to receive. I’ve already been putting together items for my loved ones, so I’m giving you the details on everything you need to build the perfect Valentine’s gift basket.
A Cute Bag or Box
First things first, you need a cute bag or box to hold everything. Something they can reuse and is a part of the gift like this mini Boat and Tote is my personal favorite, or snag a festive gift box you can fill with all of the goodies. When in doubt, head to Home Goods or Target and grab a cute basket, there are always a ton of great options!
Something Beauty Related
Spoil them with a little self-care and add in some beauty! The options are endless and I like to cater the item specifically to who I’m shopping for, but some of my favorites are a nice lip product, hair care, girly hair clips, or a face mask and eye gels. Bonus points if they all match! If you’re shopping for the guys, grab him a nice lip balm or men’s lotion. Guys need beauty products, too!
Candy or Snacks
It wouldn’t be a Valentine’s box without candy or snacks! Everyone has their favorites so pick out theirs, or add something unique that they wouldn’t always see first thing at the grocery store. This year, I included cherry cola Olipops, these yummy gummy and chocolate candies that are so cute, and an Unwell hydration drink that I have been hearing a lot of great things about.
A Festive Card
Cards are optional, but it’s always sweet to write out a message telling your loved one how much they mean to you. Plus, there are so many adorable cards to choose from, so it adds another layer of festive fun.
