Spring Road Trip Essentials
Matt and I decided to head out on a little getaway and are spending some time in Charleston this week! It’s only a few hours’ drive from our house so we love to spend time over there to head into the city, enjoy some yummy food, and get our beach time in at Folly Beach (our fave!).
Since it’s only a short trip for us, I wanted to share all of our road trip essentials in today’s post! Over the many road trips I’ve done, we have learned everything we need while spending several hours in the car to make the drive enjoyable and hassle-free. Seriously, these things have saved us lol! Watch this video to see how I pack and prep my car for our road trip and keep reading for all of my essentials…
Purse Hook | This small hook goes on the back of your chair and holds your purse or other bags freeing up space on the ground. It’s also nice so you can grab your purse quickly for those snack and coffee stops.
Clear Travel Case | I like keeping this travel case in the car to hold things like makeup wipes, hand sanitizer, and other small essentials.
Car Trash Can | This car trash can has been an absolute lifesaver for preventing clutter! Instead of the trash building up or being thrown wherever we can easily take this bag out when we reach our destination.
Car Organizer | This organizer has made the BIGGEST difference during road trips and just day-to-day life! It fully expands and has different compartments to organize everything you might need in the car.
Cup Holders | If you’re like us and need more than two cup holders for water, coffee, and more, this cup holder hooks on the side of your car’s cup holders for extra space.
Hat Clip | Whenever I bring hats along in the car they tend to get smashed under other bags as our car is packed tight. This clip hooks on your bag and has two magnetic sides that hold your hat, keeping it with you at all times. This is great throughout your entire vacay, not just for travel!
Touchland Sanitizer | I’m always bringing hand sanitizer to use before we eat or after a stop at the gas station and these are my fave sanitizers! They spray a light mist that isn’t sticky and smells amazing.
Roller Cooler | Of course, you can’t forget the snacks and drinks! This cooler is great during a road trip and to bring to spots like the beach.
