3 Unique Ways to Organize Around Your Home

As you guys probably know by this point, I’m big on organization. I’ve found so many great gadgets, tools, bins, you name it, for organizing and I love taking on a new project to make a space neater! I’m always looking for new things to help with organization but lately, I haven’t been grabbing the typical storage bin. I’ve really been making an effort to find things that also mesh as home decor and new, unique ways to organize around my home! For today’s post, I’m sharing a few unique ways to organize around your home so you can keep things tidy, functional, and pretty!

Use Decorative Bowls

Instead of using storage bins and other holders, try using a decorative bowl. I love decorative bowls since they are such pretty decor but also double as storage to hold items you can easily toss inside. I’ve been using this marble bowl a ton and keep it on my dresser as a catch-all bowl to hold jewelry and other small items. A decorative bowl would also work so well somewhere like an entryway table to hold items you can quickly toss in as you enter the house. Here are a few other decorative bowls and dishes I’m loving!

Get Rid of Packaging

The packaging on food or everyday items typically isn’t the cutest, and most of the time is difficult to match with your home decor regardless of what type of aesthetic you have going on. I like to take items out of the packaging and put them in pretty, organizational containers and holders for a more seamless look. Plus, it helps me keep things way more organized! At first, this might seem like a chore and an extra step, but over time you totally get used to it. We’ve completely done this in our pantry and it’s made all of the difference! I can easily find items, it prevents there ever being old food that sits and needs to be tossed, and I just love the look. I especially love these cereal holders we use.

Stack It Up

When organizing different spaces in my home, I love to stack different bins and containers. This allows me to utilize a lot more space, but I also love the way stacking things looks! You can stack things in virtually any space in your home if you find the right bins and containers. For a more elevated look that matches your home decor, try a wire bin like these bins I used to style items in my bathroom. It works as decor but is also a way to keep items neat! For things in cabinets and spaces that are hidden, I love a classic stackable acrylic bin like these bins I used under our sink.
