What’s In My Beach Bag

Since the warm weather is here I have been loving spending time at the beach relaxing! It’s easy to get super busy with work so Matt and I have been making an effort this summer to try and take some R & R time, and for us lately, that means the beach! I know summertime is a big beach season, so I’m sharing what I keep in my beach bag! I think these items have really helped make our trips to the beach more enjoyable and I always come back to them season after season. If you’re not taking a trip to the beach this summer, this stuff is also great for any spots by the water like the lake, river, or wherever you’re headed. Read on for what’s in my beach bag! 

Beach Bag: I couldn’t share what’s inside of my beach bag without sharing the actual bag! I love this bag since it’s made of mesh fabric so no sand gets trapped inside. It’s light and comes in a ton of different colors!

Bluetooth Speaker: You can’t have a beach day without music! I love bringing this Bluetooth speaker along since it’s small and compact, and super easy to travel with. The coolest thing about the speaker is that you can use it as one speaker, or split it into two mini speakers for left and right stereo sound. So cool!

Beach Towel: I love this towel for the beach since it’s super oversized and plush so it makes for comfortable lounging. Plus, the striped pattern is so fun and beachy. 

Beach Chair: While this isn’t inside of my actual beach bag, I bring it to the beach every time I go so I had to include it! Laying out on a towel is nice, but sometimes you need a comfy beach chair to complete your setup. This chair is comfortable and stable, but still super lightweight for easy carrying. It also has a removable strap so it’s easy to hold, and I just love the checkered print on the cushions! 

Towel Clips: I’ve shared these clips before and I will continue to share them because they are the best thing ever! There is nothing worse than the wind picking up your towel off of your chair over and over during a day at the beach, and these clips fix just that. They easily clip right on your chair so your towel stays in place. Genius. 

Sunscreen: Of course, I can’t forget the sunscreen! I love this mineral sunscreen since it’s sprayable for easy application and is totally reef friendly. 

Hat: Along with the sunscreen, I like to protect my skin from the sun with a wide beach hat. This hat is great for the beach but also doubles as the cutest accessory, so you’ll be able to wear it from day to night. 

Hat Keychain: Another game-changing product – this hat keychain. I love bringing a hat to the beach but carrying it (along with all of the other beach gear) can get annoying. This keychain hooks right on your bag and has two magnets that stick on each side of your hat. It keeps your hat in place while keeping your hands free, it’s the best!

Shoes: I like to switch things up from a traditional flip-flop, so I’ve been wearing these perforated sandals to the beach. A little bit of a splurge, but totally worth it to me, they are so comfortable and surprisingly lightweight! I also love that I can wear them all vacation long.
