How I Organize My Toiletry Bag
Matt and I are headed to 30A in Florida for a little getaway so I’ve been in full packing mode lately! I usually try to keep my luggage and bags neat but since this is our first vacation in a while, I thought it was time for a little revamp on my travel items. Throughout the traveling we’ve done in the past, I’ve learned a few packing tips that have made such a difference, and that goes for my toiletry bag. Since I recently packed up my toiletry bag, I thought I would put together exactly how I do it in today’s post, along with some packing tips that I always keep in mind.
If you’re looking for easy travel items, don’t miss my full list here with my Amazon travel favorites!
Use Small Organization Pieces
You all know what a big fan I am of using organization items, and that goes for my toiletry bag! Instead of throwing all of my toiletries in my bag and calling it a day, I like to pack pieces that help me save space and keep things neat. I always bring this pill organizer along so I don’t need to pack a ton of different supplement bottles, and I also love these travel containers that are magnetic and stay together in my bag!

Pack Minis
This might be a no-brainer for some, but I love my minis! It always seems quite costly to go out and purchase all of your favorite products in minis upfront, so that’s why I started accumulating them over time. When I restocked on my hair oil, I grabbed a mini version. Doing it slowly instead of all at once helps bring the cost down and makes you way more prepared when the time comes! Packing a mix of mini products and using small, travel organization pieces to add product in as mentioned above makes me feel super prepared for my trip without overpacking.
Get a Bag That Does the Job
I’ve used SO many toiletry bags that ultimately have fallen apart, or weren’t great at keeping my items organized. Once I started investing in higher-quality bags, it made such a difference! When shopping for a toiletry bag, I look for something durable, easy to clean, and something that has extra compartments or features, and this Beis cosmetics case has been my absolute favorite! It comes with an extra piece that can be removed from the bag and even has a small mirror for touchups on the go. It’s under $70 and has been my favorite cosmetics bag yet… and I’ve tried out a lot.
Don’t Overdo It
We all know overpacking is a THING and as someone who used to always overpack, being more efficient with packing is so much better. It might take a little more work upfront, but once you arrive at your destination, it all becomes worth it! The same goes for packing toiletries and cosmetics, because let’s be honest, we all reach for the same few products regardless of what we bring along. I know it might be tempting to pack every lip gloss shade or a new blush you *think* you might want to use, but my biggest piece of advice is not to overdo it and bring along the products you know you’ll use consistently. Be realistic, keep it simple, and watch how much more organized your toiletry bag will be (and how much lighter, too!).
