I am constantly looking for new ways to organize every category of items in my home, and coffee supplies are no exception. A couple of years ago, I transferred all of our coffee supplies to a drawer near our coffee machine and it has been a game-changer. If you’re looking to declutter and streamline your coffee station, look no further. Today I’m going to be sharing my tips on how to create a coffee drawer in your own kitchen. A well-organized coffee drawer will make your mornings 100x more efficient, and even a little peaceful (which is important for non-morning people like me). Read on for my shopping list of everything you need to create a coffee drawer of your very own.

Coffee Pod Organizer

The main attraction when organizing your coffee drawer is definitely the coffee itself. Whether you use Nespresso capsules like we do, or K-Cups, there are dozens of different pod organizers that will fit perfectly in your drawer. We use the Nespresso Vertuo capsules and store them in this coffee pod tray. If you have a Keurig, I recommend this tray for storing your pods. We used it in our kitchen up until recently when we switched coffee machines. And if you use a classic coffee pot, I recommend this countertop canister for storing your beans or grounds.

Tea Box

After you choose an organizer for your coffee pods, it’s time to start thinking about what else you want to include in your drawer. Do you drink tea? Do you drink matcha? Are there certain tools you need when making your favorite caffeinated beverages? Once you have an idea of what you’re going to include alongside your coffee, you can decide on the other types of drawer inserts you may need. My husband and I drink tea pretty often, so including an organizer with compartments for tea bags was a no-brainer. I highly recommend this one!

Everything Else

To organize everything else in the drawer, I decided on these drawer inserts from The Home Edit. I love that they include all different sizes. We used the inserts to organize matcha packets, hot chocolate, our frother, and creamer packets. (We typically use bottled creamer, but these packets have come in handy countless times since we travel often.)

Organizing your coffee drawer is a simple yet effective way to make your morning go a little smoother. We all know how precious time is in the morning and an organized coffee drawer ensures you never have to skip your coffee ritual, no matter how chaotic your household is!
