I am so thrilled to be sharing the next installment of #MCBLAtHome here with you today. Decorating and deciding to share my apartment on the blog has been quite the process. Anyone who has recently moved into a new place, or decided to refurnish their home, knows that it isn’t easy. It has definitely been a fun and exciting process, but it has also been a much longer process than I would have anticipated. I am so happy with the way the bedroom turned out, and I hope you love it too.

For the bedroom, I knew I wanted it to be very bright and white, yet still find a way to subtly incorporate color. I basically designed everything around the headboard I fell in love with from Raymour & Flanigan. I’m actually partnering with them this month and will be sharing all of their incredible pieces on the blog this coming week. I have wanted a velvet headboard for the longest time, and this light gray tufted bed from Raymour & Flanigan fufills all of my dreams.

I think it’s pretty obvious I love all things beauty, so creating an area where I can get ready everyday was super important to me. I didn’t want to have the typical vanity, so instead I decided to transform my campaign dresser into one. This brass beauty organizer from PB Teen is one of my favorite pieces in the room. Not only does it store my everyday beauty products, but I think it adds a nice touch to the area. It has a bit of a vintage feel that I felt complemented the campaign dresser.

I also keep my Glamboxes on my dresser (duh), and will be sharing a close look at my updated make-up collection soon too!

My bedroom is now my sanctuary and I always feel so at peace whenever I’m in it. Having a bedroom I love actually makes me want to make my bed every morning and keep it just as neat as it looks in these photos.

What I love most about my bedroom? Hmm. I refreshed my linens last year, but the furniture needs to be replaced with something thrifted and upcycled. I do have a display of cherished items on my chest of drawers that makes me feel good to have it there.
